ISV is excited to launch 3 amazing trips designed for students and professionals with specific skills and interests. These projects will be running on selected dates throughout both Nov-Feb programs in 2012-2013 and May-Sept in 2013.

Spend two amazing weeks on an elephant rescue center undertaking medical treatment and care of elephants in a project that will change your life. You will gain valuable experience in treating and caring for elephants and neighborhood animals such as buffalo, dogs, cats and pigs. Medical and Nursing Projects in South Africa

This is an amazing opportunity for medicine, nursing & health science majors to get involved in helping med good pic 300x198 Skilled Trips for Vet, Medical and Biology StudentsSouth African communities in need. As an ISV volunteer, you will not just observe, but assist in providing medical care to patients in their homes in this very interactive program. This experience will be invaluable to you as you continue your educational journey and share your knowledge and experience with local community carers. Sea Turtle Research in Costa Rica

A project for true animal lovers and conservationists.  Spend 2 weeks on the beautiful Osa Peninsula turtle 1 300x168 Skilled Trips for Vet, Medical and Biology Studentsin tropical Costa Rica as you research the behavior and health of endangered sea turtles. This project is specifically designed for biology, oceanography, animal science and environmental management. This is a research program that will see you collect data to help form important environmental policy for these highly endangered species.
