Standard 4 Week Program

The Standard 4 Week Volunteer and Adventure Standard Program is by far our most popular program and consists of a meaningful 2 Week Volunteer Project followed by a 2 Week action-packed Adventure Tour in Costa Rica. You will travel with 25-50 other participants from around the globe who share your passion. Challenge yourself to make a change that will have a lasting impact on your life, your planet, and the lives of those who need your help!

2 Week Volunteer Project

You may volunteer in either conservation based projects or social community development projects. Projects offer challenging, hands-on experience doing such things as:

• Protection of animals such as sea turtles, dolphins and manatees
• Children’s Programs and education using arts and crafts
• Wildlife research and monitoring for endangered species
• Seedling propagation in tropical jungles
• Sustainable development in rural communities
• Infrastructure improvements and beautification
• Environmental education programs
• Supporting organic agriculture development
• Community recycling programs

2 Week Adventure Tour

The ISV Adventure Tour allows you to do more things in 2 weeks than most people dream about doing in a lifetime! Experience the most adrenaline-filled activities available in your host country, which may include:

• A 2 day white water rafting adventure on the Pacuare River
• Treks through several ecological reserves
• Ocean kayaking to from Samara Beach to Isla Chora
• Horseback riding through an authentic Costa Rican cattle ranch
• Zip-lining and rappeling in La Fortuna
• Discovering the geothermal wonders of Arenal Volcano and Rincon de la Vieja National Park
• Tubing adventure on Rio Negro
• Personalized surfing instruction in Samara Beach
