Experience the thrill of caving in one of the largest cave systems in the Caribbean. Start with a short horse ride and hike through Los Haitises National Park to the entrance of the caves. We’ll rappel, hike and swim through the underground canyons of this expansive cave system; a sure adventure highlight of your tour!

This whitewater activity takes place on the rapids of the Yaque del Norte River near the mountain adventure capital of the Caribbean: Jarabacoa! This action-packed rafting trip will take participants through extremely fun, technical Class IV rapids and breathtaking scenery in one of the most remote areas of the Dominican Republic.

Los Haitises National Park, Samana ?

Arrive in the town of Samana in the eastern Dominican Republic and admire its African heritage and colorful streets. Travel across Samana Bay by boat to the spectacular Los Haitises National Park and experience a pristine maze of egg-shaped, small islands formed by limestone erosion. Later, visit a spectacular cave where the Taino Indians lived then kayak through red mangroves, floating past spectacular natural scenery while watching for tropical birds. This is a unique opportunity to see one of the most secluded and exotic parks in the Dominican Republic.

Canyoning, Cabarete ?

From the Caribbean coastal town of Cabarete we will travel to the 27 Waterfalls in the beautiful mountain area of Damajagua. Hike through a tropical forest to the base of the first waterfall, then journey through a canyon for an adventure that involves hiking, cliff jumping and sliding down natural waterslides in a stunning jungle setting! Even Tarzan would be jealous! Hike out again through tropical forests and enjoy lunch in a pristine environment.

Surfing, Cabarete ?

Get an early start and head to the beach for 2.5 hours of surfing lessons by local professionals for beginners and advanced surfers on one of the best surfing beaches in the Caribbean! How do I sign up?

To reserve your package, please check the box on your ISV Flight/Options Form indicating you would like to participate in the Dominican Republic Optional Activities. If you have already submitted your Flight/Options Form, please send an email to info@isvonline.org indicating your desire to purchase the OAP package. The cost will be added to your invoice. Full payment is due to ISV prior to departure.
