You will travel with 25-50 other participants from around the globe who share your passion. You will volunteer in conservation based projects. Projects offer challenging, hands-on experience doing such things as:

  • Conservation of nature sanctuaries
  • Habitat restoration
  • Protection of endangered species such as the iconic kiwi bird
  • Scientific research within fragile environments
  • Planting native species in beautiful landscapes
  • Assisting with various conservation initiatives
  • Environmental education for community members
  • Sustainable tourism development
  • Invasive species removal to protect native plants and animals

2 Week Adventure Tour

2 Week Adventure Tour

The ISV Adventure Tour allows you to do more things in 2 weeks than most people dream about doing in a lifetime! Experience the most adrenaline-filled activities available in your host country, which may include:

  • Black water rafting in glow worm caves*
  • Bathing in the geothermal hot pools of Rotorua*
  • Maori Cultural Experience in Rotorua
  • Whale Watching in Kaikoura*
  • White water rafting the rapids of the Kaituna River
  • Exploring the cultural attractions and nightlife of Wellington
  • Globe-riding downhill inside a giant OGO ball (so much fun!)*
  • Drive through the dramatic Tongariro National Park and World Heritage site
  • Jet boating through the Shotover Canyon*
