South Africa

South Africa's cultural richness, amazing wildlife and stunning scenery will capture your imagination.

South Africa

Offering rewarding volunteer experiences in community development and environmental conservation, breathtaking scenery, a ‘rainbow nation’ of culture, and of course, amazing endemic wildlife.

ISV’s Southern Africa program extends to South Africa, Swaziland, and Mozambique, offering a diversity of experiences to discover African wildlife, cultures and landscapes.

Poverty stricken communities need assistance with essential needs such as housing and sanitation infrastructures, social empowerment and education. Due to urbanization, habitat destruction and the demand for natural resources in South Africa, our environmental projects are much needed and volunteers have the opportunity to work on essential conservation management, biodiversity surveying, and habitat and wildlife monitoring projects.

Become a fearless explorer on the Southern Africa Adventure Tour, as you discover the Big 5 in Kruger National Park, catch the perfect wave on unspoiled beaches, discover the colorful yet turbulent past of this historically rich region and find yourself falling in love with the enchanting locals with contagious smiles and festive energy.
