4 Week Program

The 4 Week Volunteer and Adventure Standard Program is by far our most popular program and consists of a meaningful 2 Week Volunteer Project followed by a 2 Week action-packed Adventure Tour in South Africa. You will travel with 25-50 other participants from around the globe who share your passion. Challenge yourself to make a change that will have a lasting impact on your life, your planet, and the lives of those who need your help!

2 Week Volunteer Project

You may volunteer in either conservation based projects or social community development projects. Projects offer challenging, hands-on experience doing such things as:

• Game park management for Elephants, Rhinos, Lions, Leopards and Buffalos
• Conservation of endangered species and habitats
• School and playground building for underprivileged children
• Surveying and monitoring African animals
• Protection of fragile ecosystems within game reserves
• Sustainable development in rural communities
• Health and education programs in rural areas
• Recreation with children to encourage self-development
• Create a community garden for sustainable food production

2 Week Adventure Tour

The ISV Adventure Tour allows you to do more things in 2 weeks than most people dream about doing in a lifetime! Experience the most adrenaline-filled activities available in your host country, which may include:

• A full day Wildlife Safari in Kruger National Park
• Surf Lessons on Jeffreys Bay and sand-boarding in Cape Town
• Waterfall hike along the coastal Tsitsikamma National Park and a flying fox canopy tour through beautiful Outeniqua Yellowwood trees
• Bungy Jumping from the highest bridge bungy in the world!
• Ocean Safari alongside hundreds of Cape fur-seals
• Abseiling from the top of the world famous Table Mountain
• Enjoy the rich culture of South Africa in a township tour
• Get the blood pumping with canyoning – crawl, swim and cliff jump your way down!
