Describe your Volunteer Project:

Ran a day camp for underprivileged kids during the mornings and then helped finish building a preschool in a settlement and build a vegetable garden for young school kids.

What did you learn from your ISV Program?

Never take your blessings for granted, there are always plenty of people who have much less than you and are still happy.

What was your favorite part of the tour?

The Safari’s or Kloofing, even though it was frigid!

Why do you think people should volunteer abroad?

It opens your eyes to the rest of the world and allows you to briefly experience what a majority of the world actually lives like.
